So, first of all you will have to go to that particular friend's post and share that post on your story. To do that your friend should mention you in his/her story. If your friend doesn't mention then you cannot add their post on your story. And if your friend did mention you than you can add on your story.

First click on "Camera" then click on "more". After that simply send it to your friend. Now simply go to direct message. After that go to conversation and there you will get your friend post that he/she has mentioned you. You will directly get an option saying add this to your story. Simply click there and you can see there an option add on your story. Now simply click on "send" and add to your story.

After that click on "done" and now it is added on your story. So, this is how you can add someone's story to your story.
